For Dragon*Con 2008, I am once again hosting a panel on making Stargate-themed My Little Ponies. (To register, go here for more info: [link] )

Continuing my collection, here are Sam and Jack. (I call Carter "Major" despite her now being a Full-Bird Colonel in the series, because this version of her still is one, to go with Jack still being a Colonel, hence her short hair.) All of my "Air Force" ponies are pegasi. Sam's coat is "antique white" acrylic with a metallic-gold acrylic wash (which, alas, ended up looking like dirt/bad painting in the photos *sigh*). Her hair was light pink, and I turned it yellow with a Sharpie. Unfortunately, the front portion of her hair was a dark pink, so I cut that portion out, then hot-glued the light-pink in it's place.

Both have "dog tags", Jack's being painted card stock and Sam's being silver sequins, with the chains on each being black thread with silver paint. Both also have the Earth symbol on one hoof, my signature mark on teh bottom of a hoof, SG-1 patch (white acrylic on felt) on one side, and the Air Force logo (printed out from my puter and pasted on) on the other. Behind the Air Force logo: on Sam, is a field of stars, to symbolise her being an astrophysicist; on Jack, the emblem of a Colonel. Both are sealed with Mod Podge. I made Jack's baseball cap out of felt and hot-glue, and painted it black.
