Done in prep for my panel at Dragon*Con 2008 [link]
Based on the look Teal'c had in the Atlantis ep "Midway", because someone else already did a "bald" Teal'c, and because I *loved* his look in "Midway". His side-symbol is a Zat gun, which I drew by hand on paper and pasted on. For the Apophis symbol on his forehead, I drew it with the shapes tool in Photoshop, printed it out, painted gold over the black lines, and pasted it on. Since I was using the forehead symbol, it seemed best to go with his natural skin colour for the coat, especially since it meant I didn't have to mix a colour. XP (It's not laziness! It's because, if there's a mistake or he gets accidentally marked at a later date, it's easier to fix him. Do you know what a pain matching colours is? Especially since the colours don't dry the same colour as they look when wet! XD) Mane coloured with a black sharpie, white streak added with acrylic. Eyes coloured with a brown sharpie (which seems to have worn off on one eye, and I can't find the sharpie now. Argh. XD) Like my other SG-1 ponies, he has the SG-1 team patch (made of felt) on one side, the Earth symbol on the side of one hoof, and my signature mark on the bottom of a hoof. Sealed with Mod Podge -- even his hair!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
